According to the current legislation of Ukraine, some types of business activities are subject to licensing.

Licensing – is granting a business entity the right to conduct a type of business activities or its part through the adoption by the licensing authority of a decision to issue a license, which is recorded in the license register.

A document of a permissive nature – is a permit, conclusion, approval, certificate, etc., which grants a business entity the right to take certain actions regarding the implementation of business activities, and the object for which such a document is issued is a land plot, structure, building, premises, equipment, and mechanisms, which place into service or be designed, a separate operation, business activities of a certain type, work and service.

 

There is a mandatory and voluntary certification in Ukraine. The list of products subject to mandatory certification in Ukraine is approved by the state executive body.
